This is what you can find in the April 2010 issue of Growing in Faith:
Actions speak loudly.
John the Baptist sent his disciples to Jesus to ask, “Are you the one who is to come, or should we look for another?(Luke 7:20). Instead of a long discourse on his spiritual genealogy, Jesus told them to watch him and report what they saw. His actions said it all. If you were to tell a friend about who Jesus is, what would you say?You may find this and other stories by clicking here.

According to an ancient tradition, is one of the vigil for the Lord “commemorating the Holy Night when the Lord rose from the dead.” Includes are:
- SERVICE OF LIGHT
- LITURGY OF THE WORD
- INITIATION OF NEW MEMBERS
- LITURGY OF THE EUCHARIST
This entire celebration started at 8:00PM in the darkness, where we were experiencing the power of darkness before the light of the “Risen One” can be fully experienced. RCIA Elect and their sponsors gathered outside for the blessing of the fire, and lighting of the Easter Cancle. Later on they were initiated to join the Church by Fr. Louis Giardino and some of the pictures from last night are shown below. Rather then sending them out one by one, I just posted them here so everyone can download their picture without clogging their emails.
Happy Easter!

Thank you to everyone who supported the HS Youth though donations and tickets sales to the Fish and Shrimp dinner, which was held on March 26. Because of your generosity, the youth were able to raise $2,750 to attend the Catholic Heart Work Camp in New Orleans this summer. We truly appreciate all the prayers and support. THANK YOU!

These are what you’ll find in March 2010 Issue of Growing In Faith:
Tough stuff
When you feel overwhelmed by your challenges, remember that God never allows us to be tested beyond our ability to cope.
“God is faithful and will not let you be tried beyond your strength; but with the trial he will also provide a way out, so that you may be able to bear it” (1 Corinthians 10:13).
Trust
When caring for the poor, Blessed (Mother) Teresa of Calcutta refused to accept donations beyond the current needs of her community. Accepting such help would mean she was no longer trusting God to provide for her needs each day. When we trust God with our needs, we
demonstrate our faith that he will care for us as his children, just as Mother Teresa did.
