GOOD SHEPHERD COLUMBARIUM UPDATE:

We are pleased that construction of the columbarium has been completed. If you are interested in purchasing a niche for your final resting place or if you would like more information about our columbarium, please call Kathy at the church office.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (R.C.I.A.) Opening the Door to the Catholic Faith

The RCIA ministry serves our Parish by providing adults the chance to learn about the Catholic faith in an atmosphere of prayer, teaching, reflection, and sharing our journeys of faith. Those who are members of other Christian denominations as well as those of other faith communities are invited to take a close look at what it means to be Catholic and consider membership in the Church. The R.C.I.A. process is open to all, but especially those:

1. Who want to learn about the Catholic Faith;

2. Who are interested in becoming Catholic;

3. Who have been baptized Catholic but never received the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist, or Confirmation.

If you know someone who may be interested in learning about our faith, invite them to “take a look.” There is no obligation. R.C.I.A. inquiry sessions will be held weekly and will restart later this summer. For more information, call The R.C.I.A. Team, 882-1945 x 104, or the Parish Office, 882-1844, and let us know your name and phone number. You may also contact us via email at gsrcia@hiwaay.net

TENNIS BALLS NEEDED:

Old clean tennis balls that can be slit and slid onto legs of the classroom chairs to protect the floors. (We have TWO classrooms of chairs completely outfitted and it’s great! Thanks!) Call Trina, 882-1945 x111
